Bible Widget
A daily Bible verse on your iPhone Lock Screen
Bible Widget shows a verse before you even unlock your iPhone, and picks it by what you are going through — comfort, courage, peace or hope.
What the widget shows
- Lock Screen — a short verse visible without unlocking.
- Home Screen — small, medium and large widgets, the large one fits a full passage.
- A new verse every morning, without opening the app.
Choosing what you need today
Instead of a random verse, you pick a topic and the widget draws from verses for exactly that: Comfort, Courage, Free from worry, Renewed strength, Never alone, Gratitude, Morning, Good night — twenty-eight in all.
Beyond verses
The app also holds prayers taken word for word from Scripture, and Christian quotes from classic writers such as Thomas à Kempis. You choose which of the three your widget shows.
Reminders
A verse can arrive in your notifications at the time you choose — one a day free, up to five with Premium.
